Cars DXB Japan is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and runs carsdxbjapan.com. We are responsible for the personal data collected through the site.

Seller accounts: your name or business name, account type (dealer or private), email address, phone and WhatsApp numbers, city, and — if you add them — a short bio and logo.

Listings: the details, description and photos of the cars you list.

Payments: the package, amount, status and Stripe references for each listing fee. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout and never reach us.

Messages: what you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.

Technical data: your IP address, browser and the pages you request, recorded in server logs for security and troubleshooting.

To run your account and publish your listings; to review listings and prevent fraud; to process listing fees; to reply to your messages and contact you about your listings; to keep the site secure and improve it; and to meet our legal obligations.

Your seller profile and listings are public so buyers can contact you: your seller name, account type, city, phone and WhatsApp numbers, bio and logo, and your cars' details and photos.

Your email address is not shown on the site. Don't put anything in a listing that you don't want to be public.

When you upload a photo, we re-process it and remove embedded metadata, including GPS location, before it is stored and published.

We don't sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site — such as Stripe for payments, and our hosting and storage providers — and with authorities when the law requires it.

We may feature published listings on our social media accounts, including @carsdxb.japan on Instagram.

We use one essential cookie, cdj_session, to keep sellers signed in. It expires after seven days or when you sign out.

We don't currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy first. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages.

We keep your account data while your account is open. We keep listings and payment records for as long as we need them for the purposes above and for our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to close your account and delete your data.

You can update your profile and listings from your account at any time. To get a copy of your data, correct it or delete it, contact us. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep some records where the law requires us to.

Connections to the site are encrypted, passwords are stored in hashed form, and access to personal data is limited to the people who need it. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use anywhere else.

The site is not intended for anyone under 18, and seller accounts are for adults only.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
