Terms of use

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses carsdxbjapan.com — buyers, sellers and visitors. By using the site or listing a car, you agree to them.

1.About Cars DXB Japan

Cars DXB Japan (“we”, “us”) runs carsdxbjapan.com, an online marketplace where dealers and private sellers advertise cars for sale and buyers contact them directly.

We are not a party to the sale of any car advertised by another seller. We don't own those cars and we don't handle payment for them. The buyer and the seller are responsible for the sale between them.

2.Seller accounts

To list a car you need a seller account. You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate, up-to-date details, including a phone number where buyers can reach you.

You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

3.Listing rules

Only list a car you own or are authorised to sell. Describe it honestly — including its spec, mileage and any known faults or damage — and keep the listing up to date.

Photos must show the actual car being sold, and you must have the right to use them. Don't include misleading, offensive or unlawful content, or contact details that aren't yours.

Mark the car as sold as soon as it has been sold.

4.Review and removal

We review every listing before it is published. We may ask you to change a listing, reject it (and tell you why), or remove it later if it breaks these terms or we receive a credible complaint.

We may suspend a seller account that breaks these terms. While an account is suspended, its listings are hidden from the site.

5.Fees and payment

Listing a car costs a one-off fee that depends on the package you choose. The price and duration are shown before you pay. We don't charge a commission on the sale of your car.

Payments are taken by card through Stripe. If we reject your listing, you can edit and resubmit it without paying again.

Listing fees are non-refundable once a listing has been published, except where the law requires otherwise. If you think you've been charged in error, contact us.

6.Duration, renewal and sold cars

A listing stays live for the number of days in its package, counted from the day it is published. When it expires it is no longer shown, and you can renew it by paying for a new package.

Listings marked as sold may stay visible on the site, labelled as sold, for a period afterwards.

7.For buyers

Listings are written by sellers. We check them before they go live, but we can't guarantee that every detail is accurate or that a car is free of faults.

Before you pay: see the car in person, test drive it, check that the registration, import papers and service history match it, and consider an independent inspection. Never send a deposit for a car you haven't seen.

Complete the transfer of ownership through the official channels — in Dubai, the RTA.

8.Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. You allow us to display, resize and share them on carsdxbjapan.com and on our social media accounts, including @carsdxb.japan on Instagram, to promote your listing and the site.

9.Acceptable use

Don't use the site to send spam or unwanted messages to sellers, to copy listings in bulk, to collect sellers' contact details for other purposes, or to interfere with how the site works.

10.Our responsibility

We provide the site as it is and work to keep it available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for dealings between buyers and sellers, for the condition of any car, or for indirect losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the listing fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute.
